Magazines Canada had a fantastic year in 2015–2016. Among our achievements this year, the prestigious FIPP World Congress was held in Canada for the very first time, the annual Business Media Leadership Summit’s continued growth established it as a must-attend event for B2B members and the introduction of the Cultural Magazines Summit brought together a disparate group and provided a model for Magazines Canada to build on. In January, Magazines Canada welcomed a new Chief Executive Officer, Matthew Holmes, to take over from Mark Jamison.
