The application deadline for Canadian Heritage’s Creative Export Canada funding program has been extended until December 7, 2018. The program offers annual funding for projects that generate export revenues and promote Canadian works in international markets.
Canadian Heritage recently launched Canada’s first Creative Export Strategy to promote Canadian creative industries in export markets, along with a new standalone program, Creative Export Canada, exclusively dedicated to funding export activities.

Following the news in April that the Canada Council for the Arts’ online applications portal would be delayed, there is confirmation from the Council that the portal will be open for applications as of June 5, 2017.
The next application deadline for Canada Council funding for literary and arts magazines is May 8, 2017. Magazines need to register on the Canada Council’s new portal as soon as possible in order to apply for funding.
