Canadian magazine media gathered November 27, 2018 for a “Magazines on the Hill” reception in Ottawa organized by Magazines Canada and hosted by Julie Dabrusin, MP for Toronto—Danforth and Chair of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage.
The application deadline for Canadian Heritage’s Creative Export Canada funding program has been extended until December 7, 2018. The program offers annual funding for projects that generate export revenues and promote Canadian works in international markets.
Canadian Heritage recently launched Canada’s first Creative Export Strategy to promote Canadian creative industries in export markets, along with a new standalone program, Creative Export Canada, exclusively dedicated to funding export activities.
