Smith is an award-winning communicator with almost 30 years of experience in publishing and corporate environments. In his role as vice-president of editorial at Newcom Media – a leading B2B publisher and trade show producer – he oversees the editorial practices of publications that serve the financial services, insurance, dental, trucking, waste management, and supply chain sectors. As editorial director of Newcom Media’s trucking and supply chain group, he also has daily responsibilities for publications including Today’s Trucking, Transport Routier, and Canadian Shipper. Stefanie Croley – Panelist Editorial Director, Agriculture @Annex Business Media Stefanie leads the content charge for the agricultural group of magazines at Annex Business Media, Canada’s largest B2B publishing company. With more than 10 years of B2B experience in several markets, Stefanie found her home in the ag group in 2013 and has since developed and executed a host of content strategies, including podcasts, live and virtual events and effective sponsored content campaigns. She is a passionate communicator and works closely with a team of experienced media professionals to serve her audience with quality content across all platforms. Richard Willingham – Panelist Former President Motum B2B, Past President and Canadian Representative TEAM ZERO As an agency president, Richard promoted and delivered on his core platform that b2b marketing demands different thinking from consumer campaigns. His Canadian, US and UK experience in journalism, publishing and marketing communications—all business-to-business—combine to give him a broad understanding of what drives brand decisions in this sector. His volunteer work with BPA Worldwide, where he served a two-year term as Chair of the Board, and eight years on the CCAB Magazine Advisory Board, allowed him to provide strong leadership to his b2b clients concerning the risky business practice of advertising in media channels–print, digital and in-person–that provide no third-party verification of their audience access claims.
