Welcome to the August issue of Magazines Canada monthly newsletter, Cover Lines. Technically, the last week of August is still part of summer—if you check the Farmers’ Almanac, it’s actually still summer in the Northern Hemisphere until end of day September 21. But, in most parts of Canada, there’s a hint of autumn around somewhere this week—whether it’s the slant of light towards the end of the day, the chill first thing in the morning, a suspiciously crispy leaf, or all those fall issues of magazines we’ve been reading. And then there’s back to school looming for so many of us (or our kids) next week.
