Some have said that the first day of school is the real new year’s day. Even those of us who haven’t been near a classroom in years can feel, come September, the urge to get to the desk, start a new project or complete one that has seemed out of reach for a while. Autumn is the season for gathering your team—colleagues or classmates—for digging in, getting serious, learning something new, and sharing what you find out with those around you.
