Magazines in a Digital World: March 29, 2018 in Toronto. Presented by Interactive Ontario and Magazines Canada.

Next Week: Magazines in a Digital World

Our skills training and networking event with Interactive Ontario is happening next Thursday, March 29 in Toronto! There’s still time to register: public tickets are $25, and it’s free for Magazines Canada members if you register in advance.

Following a successful collaboration in 2017, Interactive Ontario and Magazines Canada have come together again to present an event at the intersection of interactive digital media and publishing. Magazines in a Digital World: Virtual Reality Storytelling will feature a keynote presentation by Mia Tramz of LIFE VR, followed by a networking reception.

Mia Tramz is the Managing Editor of LIFE VR, Meredith’s (formerly Time Inc.’s) company-wide virtual reality initiative, and TIME Special Projects Editor. Since joining TIME as an Associate Photo Editor in 2013, Mia has embraced immersive digital storytelling in many forms, culminating with her involvement shaping the editorial voice of the company’s new VR brand, developing and producing VR and AR content across the media company’s 30+ titles. LIFE VR launched as a multi-platform virtual reality brand in September 2016.
