Olivier Royant was born in Paris, graduated from the Paris Institute of Political Studies, and holds an MBA from Columbia University in New York. His journalism career began at Paris’s Radio Gilda before joining Paris Match as a staff reporter, senior writer, permanent U.S. correspondent and, ultimately, Editor-in-Chief. Under his stewardship, Paris Match has won the prestigious French Magazine of the Year award twice.
