In their latest report, MPA shows that magazines’ print and digital audience, which is measured by GfK MRI, has grown by 5.5% compared to the previous year. 71% of brands experienced an increase in their print and digital audience compared to the year before; nearly half of these brands were up by double digits.
MPA’s November 2016 report indicates that total audience across print, web, mobile web and video has reached 1.9 billion, a 9.2% increase compared to the same time the year before.
According to the November 2016 report, the top five magazine brands with the most total audience are ESPN The Magazine, People, Forbes, Allrecipes and Time. The top five magazines with the greatest percentage growth in total audience are The New Yorker, New York Magazine, Vanity Fair, Harper’s Bazaar and Marie Claire.
