Minister of Canadian Heritage to Announce Cultural Policy Direction
The Honourable Mélanie Joly will deliver a speech on September 28 outlining her policy direction and priorities for Canada’s cultural and creative industries in a digital world. Minister Joly’s speech will be livestreamed on Facebook in English and French. The Minister’s speech (#CreativeCanada) represents the culmination of a wide-reaching review of federal policies and programs in support of Canadian culture initiated in April 2016. Canadian Heritage conducted extensive consultations with stakeholder groups across the country, including many Magazines Canada members. Read more.
