2019 BIMS and FIPP World Congress Delegations Announced

Magazines Canada supports Canadian magazines seeking to extend their readership into international markets through our Export and Networking Program. In accordance with the program mandate, we have selected 12 magazine publishers to form delegations to this year’s BIMS (Business Information & Media Summit) and the FIPP World Congress in November 2019. The selected members reflect the broad representation of Canada’s publishing sector, geography, official languages, and sociocultural groups.

The FIPP World Congress delegation includes representatives from:

  • Actual Media
  • Canada’s History
  • [EDIT]
  • Inuit Art Quarterly
  • L’actualité
  • Modern Dog
  • Newcom Media
  • Precedent
  • Reader’s Digest
  • St. Joseph Communications

And the BIMS delegation includes representatives from:

  • Annex Business Media
  • Rousseau Communication

We are also pleased to share that the Alberta Magazine Publishers Association will be sending a delegation to the FIPP World Congress, bringing the total Canadian attendance up to 20 magazines!

If you are interested in attending these events independently, you can still take advantage of special discounts as a Magazines Canada member. To access reduced rates for BIMS, please use Connectiv, included with your Magazines Canada membership benefits. For access to the FIPP World Congress member rate, please contact Evan Dickson for details.

We acknowledge the support of the Government of Canada.
