State of the Magazine Nation 2013: How Magazines Connect With Consumers (Part 2)

The 2013 edition of State of the Magazine Nation event was held June 27 at the TIFF Bell Lightbox in Toronto. In 2012, Magazines Canada partnered with BrandSpark International to create a study investigating the role of magazine media throughout the consumer path-to- purchase. BrandSpark’s Robert Levy, Founder and President, and Mark Baltazar, Vice President of Marketing Effectiveness, presented the results of this research at State of the Magazine Nation.

The study findings shed light on why magazine channels (print and digital) connect with consumers, as well as the role each magazine channel plays throughout the path-to-purchase, demonstrating how magazines create relationships with consumers, engender receptivity to advertising and persuade consumers to act.
