The publication of a new issue of Inroads is always a special event; this one especially so—in part because we are also launching our new improved website, but also because Inroads #41 is our most timely issue yet.

It has reports on populist insurgencies and authoritarian developments from leading observers in Turkey, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic and the United States.

It also has an important discussion of housing prices in Toronto and Vancouver, while other articles discuss legalization of marijuana, education of immigrant students, and language in New Brunswick.

Several of our authors will be there, including Ilter Turan, a former university rector in Istanbul and president of the International Political Science Association, Filip Kostelska from Prague and Science Po in Paris, Josh Gordon from Simon Fraser and Ronald Beiner from the University of Toronto—along with the editors and authors from previous issues.

You can pick up the print edition, and see a projection of the electronic version of the new issue from our website, a version that henceforth will be downloadable onto tablets and smartphones.

Seating is limited: please let us know if you plan to come.
