Magazines Canada will be hosting their FY23-24 AGM on Wednesday July 9, 2025 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. ET please mark your calendars and RSVP ASAP. There will be three key components that we need our membership to vote on.

• Magazines Canada FY23-24 Financial Statements
• New Auditor for FY24-25
• Three vacant Board of Directors seats

Instructions on how to vote for the three Board of Directors seats:
Must be a Magazines Canada member in good standing and have the authority to vote on behalf of the magazine member. In order to ensure the board is equally representative of its membership, the membership must vote for one Arts and Lit seat, and one Consumer seat. The third seat is open to either an Arts and Lit or Consumer member. Votes are one per magazine title, each magazine must have an individual sign up as their voting representative.

To prepare for the meeting, please ensure you read the candidate profiles of those running for board seats, and review the FY23-24 financial statement. We will walk you through the statements at the AGM, please download and read the AGM Package. You will be able to follow along during the meeting to get more detail.

Individual magazine members get one vote, and publishers that have multiple magazine titles with Magazines Canada get a vote for EACH of your magazines. You can have a staff member attend and vote for each magazine that is a member. If you or your staff are unable to attend the AGM, make your vote count by assigning your PROXY to either another member in good standing or Delon Rashid, Board Chair or Danielle Labrie, Board Vice Chair.

QUORUM!

Magazines Canada needs 51% of their voting members to vote in order to have quorum. Please ensure your magazine is represented at the AGM.
